One of my favorite traditions at Christmas time is sending out and receiving photo cards and updates from our family and friends. I love seeing how much everyone has changed, how families have grown, and hearing what people have been up to during the year. Since Ted and I have been married, I have been sending out our traditional Christmas photo card and update, and it's fun to look back at how much we have aged and how our family has changed from us and our furry baby Bailey for several years, then to us and Bailey and Shelby, then us and just Shelby, then us and Avery plus Shelby AND Cooper (but they didn't make the picture), and now us and Avery plus baby #2 in the belly PLUS Shelby and Cooper!
Last weekend, my very talented sister in-law, Kathy, took our annual family photos for our Christmas card. It was fun, because we took them out at their new place which is beautiful. It was a little challenging to get our very independent 16 month old to sit still, or smile, or keep her bow on for all the pictures... and even more challenging when we tried to incorporate the dogs into a few pictures, but we got the job done... and I think they turned out great! It was a little bittersweet for me, thinking that these would probably be our last family photos with just us and Avery. Next summer we will have new family photos with a new family member, and then pictures will really become challenging in the future!
Here are some of my favorite pictures from last weekend.... Now I'm just waiting on my cards to come in, so I can get them sent out!
