Spring Break - Part 2

We have continued to have a great Spring Break, even though I had to work here and there.  On Wednesday, we ended up going out with some of our good friends for St. Patty's Day.  We sat out on the patio at Dead Fish Grill on lake Belton.  The weather and our view was awesome!  Even though we had Avery in tote, we still had a great time with our friends....

On Saturday, we celebrated my Grandma's 84th birthday with most of my Dad's family.  We are so blessed to have such a wonderful Grandma...  She continues to be such an important part of our family, and Avery is so lucky to have a Great-Grandma who loves her so much.  She really enjoyed playing with all her family, especially her cousins.

Spring Breaking it!

We have had such a great time Spring Breaking it this week!  We spent the first few days in Houston visiting Ted's parents and some friends.  We had a really good time just hanging out, and we even took Avery to a park.  She was a little tired, but still had a fun time.  Here are a few pictures of our time in Houston..... I'll do another update later this weekend, with more pictures from this week =)

Update

Life's been a little busy here lately.  Between taking care of Avery (who is busy busy busy now!) and work, and housework, and illnesses... I haven't had a chance to update my blog in a couple of weeks.  And I'm only getting to catch up on it today, because I'm home sick.  But hopefully we're all on the mend now!  Here are a few random pictures of what we have been up to.  Enjoy!

Two weekends ago, we met Ted's parents at the Messina Hof Winery for lunch and wine tasting.  We celebrated Ted's Dad's birthday, and Avery had lots of fun with her Grandpa and Nana.

We finally broke down the bassinet that had been in our room for 6 months and turned it into a playpen.  It has been pretty funny watching Avery make faces at us through the lining.  But she likes playing with her toys, and it keeps the dogs from bothering her.

We got Avery a walker last week, and she really likes it!  She's starting to figure out how to walk around the house in it.

I decided to introduce a sippy cup with a little juice last week, and the girl already knew exactly what to do with it!

She LOVES it!  She hasn't quite mastered how to get much out of it yet, but she's learning...
