Natalie update

Natalie is just growing up so fast!  This month has been an exciting month for milestones!

 She is eating rice cereal twice a day.

 We've introduced some sweet potatoes too... not sure if she actually gets any in her mouth!

 She loves playing on her activity mat with all her hanging toys.

 She has started playing in the jumperoo!  (That's right... my 4 month old!  HA!)

 She has found her toes, and will rarely let go!

 She rolls over both ways now!

Happy Fall Y'all!

I get very excited this time of year!  From cooler weather to pumpkin spice lattes to holiday activities with family and friends to Christmas photo cards to holiday shopping... need I say more?!?  Oh, how I love Fall!  Pumpkin patch pictures have become a tradition for us since Avery joined us, and this year Natalie became part of our tradition!  We were also lucky enough to have a photographer (Grandpa Smith) with us, so we could take some family photos!  I think these are our first photos as a family since Natalie was born!  Avery LOVED the pumpkins this year!

2 months, 14 months, and now 26 months!  She's growing into such a pretty little girl!

Natalie is 4 months old!

Our sweet Natalie is 4 months old today!  Of course, if you take a look at her, you might think she's 6-8 months old... She's just growing so fast.  I can hardly even remember her being the 6 pound baby that we brought home in June.  I don't have her official measurements yet, but I think she is around 16.5 lbs now!  She's squeezing into a few 3-6 month outfits, but mostly wearing 6-9 month clothes now.  She can still wear size 2 diapers, but not for long.  She's such a sweet, happy, content little baby... we are so THANKFUL for that!  She really only fusses when she is hungry, tired, or wants her diaper changed.  She sleeps pretty well at night... some nights she goes from 8:30pm-5am, and other nights, she wakes up 1-2 times.  It just varies.  Her accomplishments this month include holding onto toys, rolling over both ways, good head control, and recognizing familiar faces and smiling/laughing when she sees us.  She LOVES her big sister, and likes to watch everything she is doing!  We just love our baby girl so much!

Just a little glimpse of what our "everyday" life is like....

 After a hard day at work and school, we end our meal with a little icecream...

 And since the weather is nice, we load the girls up and take them around the block, stopping to see some friends in our neighborhood....

And after giving the girls baths, it's story time with Daddy!  After at least a dozen books, Avery goes to bed, then Natalie has one more feeding, and she's down for the count as well.  At this point it's maybe 8:30 or 9pm and Mommy and Daddy can finally RELAX.... Ahhhhhh, it's been a long day.... 

Our life is crazy, but simple, busy, but blessed.  We will treasure these days with our young girls as long as we live!
