Natalie is 6 weeks old!

Today, Natalie is 6 weeks old!  The weeks are just flying by.... I only have 4 more weeks at home with my baby girl before I have to return to work =(  We'll have to make the most of them! 
She continues to be a sweet, content, and easy baby.  She rarely cries, unless she has a tummy ache.  She continues to eat about every 2-3 hours during the day, and started making a 6-7 hour stretch at night last week... which has been wonderful!  She will typically go to bed at 10pm and make it until 4-5am, eat and then go back to sleep for a few more hours.... so she is ALMOST sleeping through the night.  Woohoo!  She is still wearing 0-3 month clothes (but just BARELY!) and size 1 diapers.  I'm sure she is over 11 pounds.  She is starting to smile and coo a little.  She is still working on holding her head up.  She loves to be held and snuggled and rocked.  Here are some 6 week pictures of our sweet little Natalie...

 I took these same future Crusader pictures of Avery when she was 12 weeks old.  Natalie is currently the same size, which is so funny to us.  I love doing little comparisons of the girls wearing the same outfits.  Everyone is always asking us if Natalie looks like Avery.... well, what do you think?

Enjoying my Girls

I have enjoyed some good times with my girls this week.  It definitely takes a little bit more effort and planning to go places with a toddler and a newborn, but it's worth it when you see the smile on your child's face when you take her some place fun.  Here are some pictures of the girls from this week.... 23 Month Update

I suppose this is the last month that I can announce my daughter's age in months =(  She is 23 months old today... my sweet Avery will be 2 next month.  I can hardly believe it!  It's crazy to be planning another birthday party.  I feel like we just had everyone over at our house, and watched her take her first steps.  And now she is running and talking and potty training, and going a mile a minute!  I'll let some pictures describe what she has been up to this past month...

Natalie 1 month update

On Wednesday, Natalie turned one month old!  She is such a blessing to our family, we are cherishing these precious early weeks with her, as they go by so fast!  She is growing like a weed!!!  She continues to be such a quiet, content, easy going little baby.... She is making eye contact with us, holds her head up briefly, and is starting to smile some.  She continues to eat every 2-3 hours during the day, and every 3-5 hours at night.  She sleeps pretty good.  She wears size 1 diapers, and 0-3 month clothes (but not for long!).  She likes to be held and snuggled, spends lots of time napping on her newborn lounger, and does great riding in the car.  We had her 1 month check-up today, and (drum roll please.....) she weighed 10 lbs 3 oz (a 2lb, 2oz gain in the past 2 weeks) and was 21 inches long (no change from 2 weeks ago).  She's a little chunky monkey =)  Here are a few pictures from the last week.

Happy Fourth of July!

We took our first little road trip as a family of 4 (plus 2 dogs!) to Ted's parent's house for the 4th of July.  The trip wasn't bad at all... besides the 2 dogs riding on my lap both ways =)  The girls did great!  And Avery had a blast at Nana and Grandpa's house.  Here are a few pictures from our time there..

Growing, Growing!

I can't believe how fast Natalie is growing!  She is 3 1/2 weeks old, probably close to 9 pounds, and wearing 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers already!  It seems so crazy to us, because Avery was only about 6 1/2 pounds at this point, still wearing preemie or newborn clothes and diapers.  Natalie is getting to wear a lot of the cute summer clothes that Avery never got to wear (since by the time she could fit into them, it was already Fall/Early Winter), so that makes me really happy!  Here are a few new pictures...
