Ted and I have been talking about getting Shelby a friend for a while now. Well... last night we brought home the newest addition to our family. He is an 18 week old long-haired red brindle miniature dauchshund. We picked him out at the Cowboy kennel in Cameron. We wanted to get a puppy that was a little bit older. We've decided to call him Cooper. He is soooo cute and playful! So far he and Shelby are getting along great. He seems to be crate trained, but not completely house-broken yet. But hopefully we can get him trained in the next couple of weeks. I think they're going to be great friends!
He is a cutie! I'm glad that Shelby will have a friend when the baby gets here. That will be good for her. I can't wait to meet Cooper!

ReplyDeleteToo Cute! We tried getting Spencer a "friend" about a year ago and it didnt work out so well. Spencer hated her, so now Sophie lives with Jeff's parents and fortunantly Spencer is ok with that.
