Sundays....

There is something about Sundays that just brings peace to our household....  After a crazy busy work week, feeling rushed in the mornings trying to get everyone up and out the door on time, leaving a pile of work on our desks at the end of the day so we can get home to our girls, ending our days with getting a meal on the table (or at least trying to!), playing with the girls, getting baths, washing and preparing bottles and lunches...all of this on little sleep most of the time... it's just exhausting sometimes...  Saturdays are nice, but they are usually busy as well with chores and errands, cleaning up Avery's huge messes (yesterday involved an entire container of seasoned salt and a new tube of my lipstick!), and maybe an evening outing with our friends and their kids.  So by the time Sunday gets here, we are ready to relax.  There is just something about getting the girls ready for church, going and singing praise and worship, and listening to a great message that just brings us peace.  I forget about being stressed out, I forget about the 5 hours of sleep I got last night, I forget about the work that's sitting on my desk waiting for me tomorrow,  I forget about being upset with Avery for dumping an entire thing of seasoned salt all over the house, I forget about the dogs tracking in dirt on my freshly mopped floors, I just forget it all... and focus on the positive things in my life and all I have to be thankful for...
I am so blessed to be a Mother to these 2 beautiful girls!
They are lots of work, but they bring so much joy to our life!
Can you believe that there is only 10lbs between my 2 girls??  Avery weighs 26lbs and Natalie now weighs 16lbs.  Yes, my 3 1/2 month old weighs 16lbs!!!!  She's the size of a 6-9 month old!
You can definitely tell that they're sisters, right?  I'm so glad Avery loves her little sister.  She is so good with her now!  I wonder if she even remembers life before Natalie...
